INDIA-FOCUSED EXPOSURE
Inbound Funds
For NRIs and eligible overseas investors
Access India-focused strategies through an IFSC fund structure. Depending on the fund, foreign-currency subscriptions and professional management can support your investment journey in India.
Eligibility & investment route
Residency, country of residence, KYC and tax-residency checks apply. Investor category and minimum subscription are fund-specific; not every fund accepts every overseas investor.
Subscription is made through the fund’s permitted banking and onboarding route after eligibility checks. Currency, Indian-market access and repatriation depend on the structure and applicable FEMA rules.
Explore global markets through IFSC funds. International strategies may broaden geographic and currency exposure, with outcomes dependent on the underlying investments.
Eligibility & investment route
The fund must accept your investor category and meet your circumstances. For resident individuals using LRS, the general USD 250,000 annual limit is shared across permitted remittances, not a separate allowance for each fund.
Permitted investments may be funded through an Authorised Dealer bank under LRS, subject to bank checks, FEMA rules and fund terms. LRS is an individual route; entities require a separately permitted route.
Available for enquiries. Access depends on the fund, investor eligibility and applicable regulations. Market, currency, liquidity and country risks apply. Some strategies involve concentration, leverage or long lock-ins. Fees, conversion costs and tax treatment vary. Foreign-currency denomination does not remove underlying currency risk. Returns, diversification benefits and capital are not guaranteed.
Regulatory context
Inbound and outbound describe investment direction; they are not universal regulatory product categories. IFSCA rules distinguish fund structures and investor types. RBI, FEMA and LRS rules govern the relevant remittance routes. No universal minimum, tax exemption or eligibility is implied.
